Management & Consulting

Since Wallington’s inception, performance-driven navigation of the financial markets has been both our passion and one of our core competencies. For more than three decades, Wallington has delivered customized, cost-effective investment services specifically tailored to the financial goals and missions of foundations, endowments, for-profit and nonprofit corporations, qualified retirement plans, and other institutional clients. Our mission is to help you focus on fulfilling yours.

Improper investment policy formulation and benchmarking are a common but often unseen performance detriment in institutional portfolios. The first step towards achieving your institution’s unique financial purpose is establishing an effective, complimentary investment strategy. Unlike many consultants, our securities and capital markets expertise provide tremendous leverage in developing a capital allocation strategy best suited to your mission. As a result, Wallington delivers more adept consulting, capital advisory, and manager oversight services for externally managed investment portfolios than most consultants can provide.

Effective implementation of your capital allocation strategy is paramount to achieving your institution’s financial mission.  Wallington’s proven, disciplined investment process leverages robust in-house research to identify premier equity, fixed income, and alternative investment opportunities for institutional portfolios. Our Investment Committee incorporates steadfast risk and return principles into detailed individual security analysis and portfolio implementation. We work in coordination with your consultants and trusted partners to ensure precise integration between our investment services and your capital allocation commitments. The result is a properly diversified, transparent investment portfolio specifically tailored to your institution’s financial strategy.

Capital advisory and investment teams customarily serve separate institutional management roles. Unlike this traditional structure, Wallington comprehensively serves both as capital advisor and investment manager for many of our institutional clients. This services integration provides truly seamless cohesion between strategy and execution, and the elimination of fee layering translates directly to the bottom line of your institution’s portfolio.  The result is superior cost effectiveness, enhanced communication, unparalleled efficiency, and the highest level of transparency and customization within your institution’s portfolio, allowing you to focus on fulfilling your institution’s purpose. Your Portfolio Managers, Advisors, and Investment Team are directly available and ready to serve you along the way.
